what PPN 006 / PPN 06/21 requires (in plain English)
Your Carbon Reduction Plan must:
- Commit to Net Zero by 2050 (organisational).
- Report Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions for the last financial year.
- Report five Scope 3 categories: 4 Upstream Transport & Distribution, 5 Waste in Operations, 6 Business Travel, 7 Employee Commuting, 9 Downstream Transport & Distribution.
- Be approved by a director/board, published on your UK website, and updated at least annually.
